My Discoveries #1 October20

Hello everyone. Welcome to My discoveries. I started a new blog series on a rainy October day. Maybe it will be a cliche but it was on my mind for a long time. If I can’t find a better name for the series it will stay as my discoveries. I want to tell you the books I read every month, the new songs I discovered and the new words I learned from books on this post series. If I see any weird thing I want to tell you this too. I am thinking to publish at of every month last three day. Let’s see what did I do on the October.

The books of the October

First I read 2 Turkish and 4 English books(beginner) on this month.

The books I read in Turkish ; Animal Farm and The Little Prince

The books I read in English ; The Wizard of Oz, Robin Hood, Gulliver’s Travels and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Usually the books I read in English are beginner and classic child tales. I am learning about 20-30 words from every books. I don’t know can I talk about child tales but now let’s forget this and see the animal farm book.

The animal farm is kind of like a book you will say “This is telling about my country” no matter where in the world you live. It’s telling about after the animal revolution the farm animals conquer the power and no longer they don’t need the people. I laughed sometimes while I read the book. Sometimes I said “it’s a pity”. If you know the last 30 years politics of Turkey you can say transparently “This book is telling about Turkey”. A friend said this book is telling about Stalin’s power. Maybe it is. But my point is : wasn’t politics always like this anyway? It is really a must read book. If you didn’t read up to now you lost some things.

The second book I read is the Little Prince is little darling and it sticks out the goodness in you. This book the author prepared with his own drawings tells the story of the main character meeting with the shows up little prince after an airplane accident while he is trying to fix his plane. You can see plenty of planets and spaces while you reading the book. The best point of the book was I think those lines. But I disagree.

“Goodbye,” said the fox. “And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.””What is essential is invisible to the eye,” the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember.

From The Little Prince

When you see with the heart eye this sentences are sound like right but it can mislead you. You can be swindled because your goodwill. Be a good person or not, don’t forget the people are not completely good in the world and third world countries too. Be careful on your logic.

Songs… Spotify… The notes of the October

I can’t say I am in my finding new songs period. But still I will add some songs below there the songs of the October as spotify list.

Here is The October Spotify list :

Usually I don’t like finding new songs in Autumn. More I like to listen to songs I discovered for autumn. So I am listening to Da poet – Sonbahar and Thurisaz – Endless.

The favourite song of the month. : Wait a Minute!

Netflix, Spotify, Youtube VS Geforce Now

I think buying a geforce now membership instead of my Netflix, Spotify and YouTube membership. What do you think about this issue? Is it worth for the bannerlord? It’s hard to decide. I will be good if you can help me 🙂

Words… Cambridge Dictionary +Plus and more
